JERRY GARCIA SIGNED AUTOGRAPH "GARCIA" 1st VINYL RECORD - GRATEFUL DEAD LEGEND.
Offered here is Jerry Garcia's first solo vinyl 1972 record "Garcia" signed in black sharpie marker. Album was signed personally for me by Jerry during a personal meet and greet at the Jerry Garcia art exhibit at the Ambassador Gallery in New York City in March of 1993. Please see photos. This original vinyl record is a first pressing of the album and is in very good condition. Album and the record are beautifully framed in a mother of pearl frame with black matting to accentuate the original signature in the lower right of the album jacket. Please see photos. Included here also in the sale is an original invitation to the Jerry Garcia exhibit at the same gallery in 1994. Please see photos. The photo of me with Jerry during the meet and greet is not included. You can have a screen shot of that if you like. However, I can also put in writing for the purchaser of this rare item, a narrative of any portion you like of the 45 second experience that Ambassador Galley allotted me to visit with Jerry. I will sign that and have it notarized as some sort of authentication. (As if a photo with me and Jerry is not enough!?!)Autographed albums by Jerry Garcia are extremely rare to find and I have never seen his first record "Garcia" with an autograph at any time. Additionally, the signature is a 10 out of 10 with everlasting black sharpie. Just a side note, Jerry was very gracious and signed several items for me and my brother that night. He did have a pice of carrot stick from the deli tray stuck in his throat causing him to cough while we spoke and he did have dandruff. Other than that it was a glorious minute in my life. I am, now willing to part with this exquisite and rare signed record as I am now thinning the heard on my valuable collectibles and signed records collections. I will be listing a few other signed records in the coming days on eBay (both Grateful Dead and non Dead related) and I currently have a pencil signed Jerry Garcia lithograph "Butterfly Study" for sale as well and listed on eBay. You are Looking at a 100% authentic hand signed Shirt as pictured and described as above..The shirt is a size Medium..It measure 18.5" pit to pit and 28" top to bottom...Comes PSA authentication The original owner won the T-Shirt, a copy of the single "Touch of Grey" with "My Brother Esau" on side two, and 2 front row tickets to their concert at Compton Terrace in Chandler, Arizona on August 18, 1987 from 93.3 KDKB, a local Phoenix, Arizona Radio Station. he wrote the winning limerick for the Morning Show DJ's Cindy Wine and Shelly Dunn. There once was a radio station Whose ratings had gone on vacation They needed some thrills So they hired two girls And now they're the best in the nation Of course they loved it and he won the tickets, shirt and record. He put the package in a paper bag and it has been sitting in my closet since then. Unfortunately, the tickets were up against the shirt where Brent Mydland signed it and the ink on the ticket reacted with the marker and it ran. He since put the tickets in a baggy but the damage was done. Other than that, the shirt is un-worn, never been washed...It has a spot of the back shoulder from the ticket bleed as well... The single "Touch of Grey" is unopened, still in its original plastic wrapper...The buyer will receive the Shirt, single and ticket stubs.. This 8 X 10 photo of Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead is a must-have for any music fan. The autograph has been authenticated by DB Artworks, and the item is an original. Short Bio of D B Artworks: my brother Vince was much more to Jerry than just his art publisher. There are also very close friends. Phil Lesh acknowledged his gratitude for how well my brother and his family cared for Jerry in his book " Searching for the Sound" Vince and his family occasionally lived with Jerry over the years.. we have been selling lifetime prints, artist proofs ,press proofs, first editions , which Jerry scrutinized the proofs very carefully before he gave his final approval to be printed. These have come out of my personal collection that have been in storage for many years after Jerry's death. RARE!! Grateful Dead Poster Oct. 24 1972 Milwaukee, Wis. preforming arts center
Here we have a super rare original concert poster from the Grateful Deads Concert at the Preforming Arts Center in Milwaukee Wisconsin Monday Oct. 23 & Tuesday Oct. 24 1972. The poster came from the estate of a local Milwaukee Deadhead who had it amongst his many other musical memoribilia items. He said that he attended the concert with his brother and while leaving his brother ripped the poster off the side of the building and stuffed it in his jacket. Thats why its so rough. It measures 17 1/2" x 27 1/2" and is made of very heavy poster paper. The poster has some condition issues as you can see from my photos. It has creases, and there is tattering along the edges and corners. It has masking tape (which can be peeled off if you want) on back side corners to help stabilize the corners. It will come to you in a new poster frame to protect it during shipping. Actually it looks pretty cool in a frame hanging on the wall

This handbill has received light restoration to flatten some folds and repair 4 pinholes at the edges. These are impossibly rare and almost never come up for sale in any condition. If you're looking for a sharp example that will frame near mint then look no further as finding an upgrade would be difficult. This is an original handbill advertising shows featuring Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Albert King and Pacific, Gas & Electric (5/3-4/68), The Grateful Dead, The Steve Miller Band and Taj Mahal (5/17-18/68) , The Velvet Underground, The Chambers Brothers and Dr. John (5/24-25/68) and The Yardbirds, B.B. King and The Sons of Champlin (5/31-6/1/68). These shows took place at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, CA. It measures 6-1/2”x11” and is in Excellent condition with very slight bumps to two corners and a small area of light toning in the bottom left. It would tough to find a nicer one. This item will be carefully packed for shipment.

The Grateful Dead, Big Brother and the Holding Company, and Quicksilver Messenger Service played October 22, 1967 at Winterland in San Francisco. Though not stated on the handbill, the show was a “Marijuana Defense Benefit”. Art by Mari Tepper. Art of Rock # 2.205. Approximately 4.5 x 6.5 inches. This scarce handbill is in excellent condition. No pinholes, tape, or discoloration. There is a tiny bend in the bottom left corner that is more easily seen from the back. Shipping via USPS Priority Mail, including insurance for the full value. This is an original program and two handbills from The Northern California Folk Rock Festival, which took place 5/18-19/68 at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose, CA. The performers included The Doors, The Grateful Dead, The Jefferson Airplane, The Animals, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Electric Flag, Country Joe & the Fish and more. The handbills measure 5 1 2”x8 1 2” and 6 1 8”x9 5 8” respectively and are in near mint condition. The 4-page program measures 5 1 2”x8 1 2” closed and is in excellent condition with light handling and a small corner bend. These items will be carefully packed for shipment.
