I am Rosie McGee, the photographer who took these photos of the Grateful Dead during the time I lived and worked with them. You can learn more about my history with the Dead on my website.I took these photos on March 25, 1966, at Troupers Hall in Hollywood, California, a small venue that was part of a retired actors' home. (One month earlier, I had joined Phil Lesh at the Dead's L.A. home, where we lived for a few months before returning to the Bay Area.)For those who care about such things, these images were lovingly salvaged digitized in 2010 from 44-year-old 35-mm proof sheets, the only trace I had of these photos, as the negatives were long gone. Restoration of the images was painstaking.I had these prints made by my custom lab, and I will sign each photo in the lower right corner of the print. When the ink is dry, I'll place it back into the archival sleeve. The bonus book is a 322-page 6x9 paperback - a memoir in which I tell my stories of living, working, traveling and dancing with the Dead during their first decade as a band. The stories are illustrated with 200 of my photos, which are rendered in black and white due to the nature of the printing process.I'll carefully pack the photos and book into a well-padded box and ship them to you.I WILL ONLY SELL THESE AS A COLLECTION, AND I WILL OFFER MULTIPLES OF THIS COLLECTION (and others) IF THIS IS WELL RECEIVED However each of these photos and the book are available at retail individually - either unsigned online, or signed directly from me.WILL SHIP BY USPS PRIORITY MAIL - ONLY TO U.S. ADDRESSES - AT NO COST TO YOU. This is an original vintage screen printed poster from 1972 advertising a concert featuring the Grateful Dead 'New Riders of the Purple Sage' at the Hollywood Bowl. This was the only So Cal Appearance of the Grateful Dead at the Hollywood Bowl in 1972. The poster was produced by Pacific Productions. The poster measures 17x22 inches. There are some imperfections, including some pin holes in the corners that have produced some some tears in the upper left and right hand corners of the poster. Please see photographs for details. The colors on the poster are very vibrant and it would be a wonderful gift for any Grateful Dead fan!

In the window of the house is a Herb Greene photograph of Jefferson Airplane band members. The lettering is in the standard Roller alphabet. Although several of the posters for Bill Graham concerts in locations far from San Francisco are rare and expensive, this one is relatively common and modestly priced. The Grateful Dead appeared at the Hollywood Bowl with Jefferson Airplane in September 1967. Big Brother & The Holding Company, although listed on the poster, did not play this event due to a contractual dispute with Bill Graham.This is an Original First Printing Poster and not a reprint.I bought this poster from ClassicPosters com back in 2020. I just never got around to framing it and it has been sitting in my folio. Time to go to a new home and get on a wall.I will ship this poster flat.
