Rare Original May 11 1969 Grateful Dead Santana Canned Heat San Diego Poster
Rare original Sunday May 11 1969 concert poster featuring Canned Heat, the Grateful Dead, Lee Michaels, Santana, Tarantula at Aztec Bowl San Diego State. Poster is an original First pre concert printing OP-1 and likely a very small press run for this local to me show with a diverse line up of the Grateful Dead, Santana, Canned Heat and more. Poster is shown in the Grateful Dead poster book titled AOR-3.102. Poster measures 17 5/8x22 5/8 inches, is in used condition with tape residue at the top and bottom edges from masking tape when placed upon a wall, has a piece of stuck on rubber band and rubber band stains through the names of the bands (see photos), shows corner including a tear and crease in the top right corner and edgewear along with creasing from having been stored rolled up after being removed from the original owners wall. Overall, the poster is in poor to fair used displayed condition but still presents well overall (please see photos for the best description).
