The EXTREMELY limited DELUXE Collector’s Edition, handled and HAND-SIGNED by Bobby himself, was LIMITED TO ONLY 35 MODELS WORLDWIDE!! HOWEVER - this particular model is somehow even cooler, and a sure-fire one of a kind. Bobby signed this one TWICE. The D’Angelico Deluxe Collector’s Edition signature appears on the back of the headstock in beautiful gold marker (on each of the editions of 35), but on this model, Bobby also added a nice, big signature to the front of the body in silver sharpie (looks awesome with the color of the guitar). This is a true ONE OF A KIND in an already impossibly exclusive edition honoring one of the greatest rhythm guitarists of all time. The guitar comes with a full JSA Letter of Authenticity for Bobby’s second signature, as well as the original D’Angelico hard case. ————————————— ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON GUITAR as a Limited Edition run of only 35 guitars co-designed and hand-signed by guitar legend Bob Weir, the Bob Weir Deluxe SS is an innovative masterwork. Featuring a gold Bigsby tremolo system, coil-tapping push/pull tone knobs, a master volume pot, and a full center block for feedback resistance, the Weir SS is fully-equipped to produce both the artist’s legendary sounds and allow players to craft their own voice.“After a pretty full lifetime of playing music for people, a guy is just naturally going to have some ideas about how to improve his instrument,” says Weir. “History has shown us that as innovation creates and changes instruments, music changes with them. That’s what we hope we’re up to here.” Weir began playing his signature model on tour with Dead & Company in the summer of 2016!LIMITED RUN of 35 hand-signed Deluxe models YEAR2016BRANDD’AngelicoMODELDlx Bob GuitarSERIAL ATTRIBUTESSemi hollow single cut blue-gray maple body and bound set neck with rosewood fretboard, block inlays, gold accoutrements include two humbuckers, Tune-o-matic bridge and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, multi-ply binding throughout, art deco styling: especially the bound tortoise pickguard and headstock as well as Grover Imperial tuners OPERATIONSounds and plays great. Original First Print BG-45 Concert Poster Doors Grateful Dead 1967 Type I

Original First Print BG-45 Concert Poster Doors Grateful Dead 1967 Type I

Beautiful and very rare First Printing ( type I ) 1967 San Francisco 'Bill Graham Presents' BG-45 poster featuring The Grateful Dead, Doors, Junior Wells and The Chicago Blues Band. A punchy psychedelic silk screen by iconic San Francisco artist Wes Wilson printed before the January 13 - 15, 1967 Filmore auditorium shows. Wes Wilson is arguably the father of the psychedelic rock poster. His style, often inspired by the organic whiplash lines of Art Nouveau, took what was understood about promotional art and turned it inside-out. Cryptic, nearly incomprehensible letters filled every available space, lines melted into lines, colors clashed... and the psychedelic poster was born. There are two 'first print' versions of this poster- one has a very thin black line running across the top of the lettering, separating the purple from the upper green; the other has a much thicker black line without the purple. The thin-line version- the type on offer here- is much scarcer than the thick-line type, and it rarely shows up. This is one of the rarer and more desirable posters of the 'psychedelic' San Francisco scene, leading up to the 'Summer of Love' in 1969.

GRATEFUL DEAD JERRY GARCIA FINAL CONCERT TICKET STUB 1995?CHICAGO 7/9 POP4?PSA

On July 9, 1995, the Grateful Dead played the second and final night of their tour-closing run at Chicago’s Soldier Field featuring an opening performance from The Band. The show marked the completion of a long and winding spring/summer tour, a run throughout which lead guitarist Jerry Garcia seemed to many like a shell of his former self. Once again, he was beleaguered by time in front of huge, stadium-sized venues packed to the brim with excited fans. Garcia struggled through equipment difficulties all night, eventually having to replace his “Rosebud” guitar with his older “Tiger.” According to Bob Weir in his Netflix documentary The Other One, he and Garcia shared some short but sweet words as they walked offstage: “Always a hoot,” Garcia said, “Always a hoot.” Exactly one month later, on August 9th, 1995, Jerry Garcia passed away, his heart finally giving out after years of hard living and declining health. July 9th, 1995 at Soldier Field became the Grateful Dead’s final show. While not among their best shows by a long stretch, 7/9/95 still packs an emotional punch to this day in light of its significance as Jerry’s last performance. You can feel the weight of the show’s cosmic significance throughout, particularly on songs like encore closer “Box of Rain”. And, of course, there was the gorgeous yet bittersweet mid-second set “So Many Roads”, with Garcia’s moving vocals ensuring that there was not a dry eye in the stadium by the time the tune was finished despite some musical struggles. You can watch a full video of “So Many Roads” from the final Grateful Dead show at Soldier Field on 7/9/95 RIP Jerry. We miss you.Setlist: Grateful Dead | Soldier Field | Chicago, IL | 7/9/95Set One: Touch of Grey, Little Red Rooster, Lazy River, Masterpiece*, Childhood’s End, Cumberland Blues, Promised LandSet Two: Shakedown Street, Samson & Delilah, So Many Roads, Samba in the Rain, Corrina -> Drums -> Space -> Unbroken Chain, Sugar MagnoliaEncore: Black Muddy River, Box of Rain* Weir on acoustic*(The Band opened) GRATEFUL DEAD JERRY GARCIA FINAL CONCERT TICKET STUB 1995?CHICAGO 7/9 POP4?PSA AUTHENTIC

As this Shirt - hands-down ... is one of the Finest ! in all of Grateful Dead History - which yes-indeed ... puts it right up there at the Top ! in all of Rock & Roll !!! This is the Completely Amazing ! - ( and so-rare that it is ridiculous ... ) - Vintage Original Grateful Dead 1985 Spring Tour ( (c) Grateful Dead Productions '85 ) Tour-Issued 3/4 Sleeve Jersey-style Concert Shirt !!! With all of the Spring Tour '85 Cities & States on the back-side - with Stars, Stripes & a Steal Your Face ! image !! With even " Grateful Dead " printed inside the U.S.A. map with 1984 Tour Laminate-esque Font ! Just think ... " Greek !! " And, as for the front of this Shirt ?? Wow ... I mean Holy Grateful Dead !! - and Holy " Bear " ?!! While the Early-'70's Bob Thomas / Owsley " Bear " Stanley designed " Steal Your Face ! " is one of the most-commonly recognized ( & understood ! ) symbols in all of Rock & Roll History ... the Augustus Owsley " Bear " Stanley Belt Buckle is not nearly as well know to all - in the ' general public ' that is - because if you are on the ' inside ' of the Grateful Dead World - or, anywhere close ... you well-know your Owsley Buckles, and the vital importance surrounding them - as Bear was so critical to the evolution of the Grateful Dead Live " Sound ", and for countless ' other ' things too ... which are yes, quite Good Ol' Grateful Dead ! Ha ! But, just the fact that in '85 ... Grateful Dead Productions decided to show Bear some serious Love ! - in the form of honoring his Steal Your Face ! Belt Buckle design ??! Wow ... I mean - I don't even know what to say ... just so over the top, so awesome, and so " 1985 " - which is-obviously a " Cult " Live-Dead ' Year ' to so-many of the Dead Fan Faithful, for lack of any better way to say it. So, hmmm ... I guess we could just go ahead and say it like this -- " Trouble Ahead - Jerry's In Red " !!! I mean this '85 Spring Tour was Unbelievably Hot !!! ... as-was Summer Tour '85 too, as the Good Ol' " Mid-'80's ! " Grateful Dead were once again like a Train Rollin' Down The Track !!!!! I mean this-Shirt here ? -- it pretty-much Defines ! " Red, White & Blue " ... which even leads me to another point, regarding this Shirt's ' Grate-ness ' --- check out the Shirt-Tag on the inside, and you'll see that it reads " (c) 1980 L.A. Olympic Committee " Hah ! Which, yes-indeed ... as it does clearly-appear that Grateful Dead Productions was using " 1980 U.S.A. Olympics " T-Shirt ' overstock ' when needed !! Which is obviously ... so-Classic ! Heck, as I wonder if they even picked up a couple of crates of these White-Blue-3/4 Jersey-Sleeve ! Shirts at the '83 Lake PlAcid Show !!!? Hah ! Well, Hey Now Dead Fans ... the photos do-indeed to it All ! for this one -- close to 40-Years Old ! & still ... Kokomo Grateful Dead SIGNED Vintage Poster Autographed Mydland Kreutzmann 1985

An ORIGINAL Rare poster from the band Kokomo which was led by two members of the Grateful Dead, Brent Mydland and Bill Kreutzmann in 1985. This is the poster for the August 10th show at the Metro in North Brunswick, New Jersey. This poster is hand SIGNED by all 4 members in pen, from left to right, Brent Mydland from The Grateful Dead, Dave Margen from Santana, Bill Kreutzmann from the Grateful Dead, and Kevin Russell from 707. There is NO other poster like it, and this will be your only chance to buy this piece of American music history.Setlist for this exact show was:A Girl Like You, Is It Silver Or Gold, Tons Of Steel> Up In Smoke, Never Trust A Woman, Tell Me No Lies, Love Me Right, Not Fade Away, For You, Dear Mr. Fantasy> Hey Jude> Dear Mr. Fantasy, Keep On Growing, Jam> Dark Star> Drums> Jam, Look On Yonder Wall, Maybe You KnowEncore: Casey Jones, Let It RainPoster dimensions are 23'' x 28.75''. Poster has staple holes on all four corners. The top left corner has a 1'' diameter hole with the piece of paper from the hole barely holding on. Poster has been stored rolled up, and will be shipped rolled up. There is wrinkling creasing throughout the poster and areas of discoloration. Please review all the images closely! There is a pen mustache drawn on Dave Margen, not sure if that was from one of the band-mates or a creative addition afterwards by the previous owner. Edges of the poster are also bent/minor small tears. This is an exceptionally rare, one of a kind poster. Some history about the Russell-guitar, vocalsBrent Mydland keyboards vocalsDavid Margen-bass, vocalsBill Kreutzmann drumsBrent Mydland was always in the shadow of the other members of the Grateful Dead, because he was always "the new guy." One of the many interesting aspects of the Grateful Dead was that fans could see the musical interests and abilities of the individual musicians in their various side projects, and then see how those sounds were integrated or excluded from the Dead's sounds. Most Deadheads, however--and I am certainly including myself--paid little attention to Brent's individual activities outside the band because they were too busy following Garcia or Weir.Certainly, if you were a Bay Area resident, and you had a chance to see Jerry Garcia or Brent Mydland in a club, you would generally pick Jerry. Also, like most Dead fans I liked many kinds of music, and being fortunate enough to see the Grateful Dead regularly, I made a point of seeing other groups rather than the spinoff bands. As a result, Brent Mydland projects tended to be quite obscure. Kokomo was a group that only existed for the Summer of 1985. Although all the players are recognizable, I know of no circulating tapes, no reviews, don't know anyone who saw the band and can only guess exactly what they played. I'm not suggesting that the band was world changing, or even any more than a solid bar band, but one of the purposes of this blog is to document little known performances of the Grateful Dead and its members.Kevin Russell had been in an "arena rock" band called 707 from 1977-83. They had a hit called "I Could Be Good For You" on Casablanca Records, and three albums on Casablanca and Boardwalk. Despite some success on tour opening for larger acts like REO Speedwagon, the band broke up in 1983. Kevin Rusell, originally from Detroit, had moved from Southern California to Marin County during his time in the band.David Margen was a Berkeley musician had played bass for Santana for several years (1977-82), as well as playing bass in a variety of other groups.
