Where there were pieces missing (upper left corner, lower right corner, a crescent bit approx. The finished product was now entirely stable enough to handle, and looking quite presentable. I had imagined hanging it from a ridge-beam, in a room of my house with vaulted ceilings, and lots of South-West facing windows; Up high enough to catch the afternoon light, and just far enough out of reach to impress my friends, without giving them the opportunity to study the flaws up close. But the new owner will undoubtedly have plans of their own. ).
