Stanley Mouse Art - Grateful Dead songbook art 1997 pencil sketchIce Cream Kid as the Jester - variationSigned and dated by Stanley Mouse in pencil on the front side.Measures 14" x 11" on stock sketch paper.I obtained this original piece of art directly from Stanley Mouse at his Sonoma studio in the late 90s. This composition is from the cover of The Grateful Dead Songbook that came out in 1973. He drew this sketch for me, at my request in 1997. It is a One-of-a-kind item, but he did do other "Song Book" sketches with the Ice Cream Kid. A version with Jerry Garcia as the Jester is hanging framed on my wall.)This art paper is in Excellent condition. Edges and corners are sharp. The image is clean. (It has been protected in a cardboard sleeve that was provided by Mouse, and will be shipped in the same.)
