Five ( 5 ) Shows in only 6-Nights !!! Jerry felt a little exhausted in the Summer of '92 - think Reno / J.G.B., etc. - and it was definitely time for a ' break ' ... no Fall Tour '92, as a result -- and unfortunately too ... that meant no Veneta, Oregon " 3rd Decadenal Field Trip "... Ouch. But once Halloween '92 & the Jerry Garcia Band rolled around ... Jerry was back !!! And even asked us, " So, How You'all Been ??! ". Awesome ... So in essence, this '92 Winter Tour was a " mini " Return ! of the Grateful Dead, if I may. And since I caught 3-Shows on this 5-Show run, I can personally assure you that things were fresh & creative - as everyone was feeling well, rested, groovy, and generally really-great ! Hey, even the Fans need a little break once in a while, right ? Well, then again ... Ha !! I remember very-well & vividly - in fact ... that after the 1st few Shows of this run, we were all trying to decide which Show was the Hottest ?! - and it was pretty tough !! You know, the late-night - pre-show / next-day type-stuff in the East Bay ... Bezerkeley, in fact ! Ooops, as it looks like I just accidentally slipped a " z " in mentioning one of my former schools. The Good Ol' Grateful Dead - in '92 ... from well over 30-Years ago !?! Some seriously Awesome ! times ...
