The " Vintage Original " 1993 GDM Issued - Timeless Grateful Dead Classic !!!!!Dead Fans !!!!! Here you go ... as offered here is the David Opie designed " Bertha Skull & Roses Evolution " Classic !!! The '93 Vintage Original ! - on the Ultra-Rare !! " Fruit Of The Loom " Issued Black T-Shirt ... " Super-Rare " !!! And obviously, without any question at all - this is indeed one of those " Yep, I Need That! One " ... Dead Tees ! I'll never forget the very first time that I saw this Amazing ! design surface, as it was inside the pavilion at Shoreline !! And it was the guy sitting 1-row between me & Bill Walton that was wearing it !?! Quite easy to remember that day, for all reasons obvious ... such as Bill !!! And, with all due respect to Bill ... I must say that the " Supplication " on that '93 Shoreline day - was pretty darn memorable too !! ... Whoa !!!?!!! Bobby Weir Delivering ! the Grateful Goods to the California Shoreline Dead Fan Faithful ! Wow ... But seriously, I was like - Whoa ??! Where did you get that ... and he was like - nowhere super special man, just at the Merch. Stand. You can imagine what it was like seeing this clever G.D. Black Beauty ! for the very 1st time ... I mean check out the photos ! It features a wonderfully creative 9-part segment inside a ' Grid ' that shows the Prehistoric > Modern Evolution of the " Bertha " Skull & Roses itself ! And as far as I'm concerned ... it's a True Story ! Ha !! I mean it's all Black & White in this scene too - until Bertha arrives ( " Evolves ! " ) wearing a Blue Ribbon with Red Roses in her Hair ! And underneath ... written in what looks like kind of a Bone-like font ... Grateful Dead !!! And on the back side ... the ' Complete ' Evolution of the Bertha Skeleton ! ... evolving into what looks like Dancin' at a Dead Show !! Well, that seems to me to just be about right ! Right on ... Possibly during a mean & nasty China > Rider transition, perhaps ? Ha ! I mean check it out, as this is a full-on 4-legged to 2-legged Evolution here - obviously going Way-Back ! And below ... you bet -- " What A Long Strange trip It's Been !!! " -- WALSTIB !!!!! Oh my. And above, a Very-Cool ! Skull & Rose design with a Blue 13-point Bolt ! Wow, I wish we'd seen more of this design on stickers, tape covers & what have you - back in the day. Very-Nice !! David Opie is credited for this Amazingly clever design, with 1993 GDM, Inc. written beside. And last but definitely not least ... the ' Black ' T-Shirt ! Yeah, Jerry style ... Acquire this Epic ! The same black color Shirt, but this " Fruit Of The Loom " versions sizes slightly larger ( at 24" pit-to-pit / 32" length ). It is extremely-rare to find one of these Vintage Original '93 Shirts printed on a " Fruit Of The Loom " shirt brand / make - that is a Vintage Original GDM '93 ! Look around yourself for years & years, and you will see just exactly what I mean ... Very-Very ! Rare !!! And too ... this one is even still Brand New ! - " Collected-Only ! " for Decades ! ...
