Cover is invert nice condition, has some corner wear and edge wear on the top portion of the cover- otherwise it looks great. comes with a COA from Heroes and Legends Auction House - hologram #24285 - really nice piece.

RARE Grateful Dead Panther Hall poster original vintage. 22-1/8×28" first printing poster for Feb. 20, 1970 concert at Panther Hall in Fort Worth, TX featuring The Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service.Day-glo poster art by an unknown artist features great psychedelic image of skull at center w/Peace symbol in one eye socket, a nuclear explosion in the other.The skull's nose is made up of rocket w/smaller rocket within. Skull also features eagle heads at cheeks and smiling woman's face between eyes. Skull's crown features band of eyes. Winged Mercury figure stands at upper right, holding "War Over... Peace At Last" scroll. Foreground of poster features three graves, each w concert ticket text. Printed on very thin paper and this, plus the large size, makes these posters very susceptible to damage. This example shows just minor corner bumps and is Exc. overall. Rare.

If you have been following me for the past month or so, you have seen all of the incredible vintage 1960’s 70’s posters that have been offered for sale.This one comes from the same estate and does not disappoint!A very rare 1970 poster advertising tickets in exchange for a $2 donation.The show sold out in days and was a hot ticket to come by.I have not seen this poster in my internet research, so I can only imagine that it is quite scarce.Overall condition is pretty good, minimal damage is pictured Dimensions are pictured as well.Will be shipped rolledOn Mar-17-24 at 19:42:18 PDT, seller added the following 20”X 13 1/2”Please see pics for measurements.On Mar-17-24 at 20:18:30 PDT, seller added the following to those who have been following my auctioning of a large estate collection of late 60’s and early 70’s original posters.Many have to do with incredibly important issues of the time like Civil Rights and the Vietnam War.The collection was amassed by a USPS worker who lived in California for a time before moving to NY.During that period he collected hundreds of posters and stored all of them rolled up inside of each other.His home was a treasure trove of ephemera Tragically he passed away sooner than he should have and his estate contents were liquidated.I have had the distinguished honor of finding these pieces of history new homes where they can be preserved and viewed once again.Many of these posters have not seen the light of day in half a century, so the condition varies widely.This particular poster was rolled inside of other posters so it was well protected.It doesn’t appear to have been hung on the wall as there are no staple marks or holes.Again there is wear from it being stored rolled and crunching up against the weight of the other posters.Please feel free to ask questions- I’ll do my best to answer them.On Mar-17-24 at 20:22:03 PDT, seller added the following note that there is a shadow cast by me taking pictures of the poster. I am holding a ring light and the shadowing shows up on many of the pictures. The actual poster paper does not have that shading.

Grateful Dead Original Concert Poster Milwaukee Daydream Productions Arts Center
Wow, look what I found while preparing to move to warmer and less taxed climes! I forgot we had it.An original Grateful Dead poster from a performance at the Milwaukee Performance Art Center. I think it was sometime during the 1970's. From looking online it appears the concert was on October 23 -24, 1972. The poster was courtesy of Daydream Productions Color is a darkish brownish. Sometimes it looks almost black depending how the light hits it. Size is about 27 1/2" x 17 1/2". The edges have some small tears and there are some creases. It has some pin holes as it was tacked to a wall at some point. If you check out the back it has some marks (probably tape). But all in all it's not in too bad condition considering how old it is and how unusual it is. I have yet to find a poster like it online. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS (if you need more just ASK!). Also, ask any questions before you buy.The poster has never been rolled and will be shipped flat, which I am sorry to say increases the shipping packing materials costs.
