JERRY GARCIA SIGNED AUTOGRAPH "GARCIA" 1st VINYL RECORD - GRATEFUL DEAD LEGEND.
Offered here is Jerry Garcia's first solo vinyl 1972 record "Garcia" signed in black sharpie marker. Album was signed personally for me by Jerry during a personal meet and greet at the Jerry Garcia art exhibit at the Ambassador Gallery in New York City in March of 1993. Please see photos. This original vinyl record is a first pressing of the album and is in very good condition. Album and the record are beautifully framed in a mother of pearl frame with black matting to accentuate the original signature in the lower right of the album jacket. Please see photos. Included here also in the sale is an original invitation to the Jerry Garcia exhibit at the same gallery in 1994. Please see photos. The photo of me with Jerry during the meet and greet is not included. You can have a screen shot of that if you like. However, I can also put in writing for the purchaser of this rare item, a narrative of any portion you like of the 45 second experience that Ambassador Galley allotted me to visit with Jerry. I will sign that and have it notarized as some sort of authentication. (As if a photo with me and Jerry is not enough!?!)Autographed albums by Jerry Garcia are extremely rare to find and I have never seen his first record "Garcia" with an autograph at any time. Additionally, the signature is a 10 out of 10 with everlasting black sharpie. Just a side note, Jerry was very gracious and signed several items for me and my brother that night. He did have a pice of carrot stick from the deli tray stuck in his throat causing him to cough while we spoke and he did have dandruff. Other than that it was a glorious minute in my life. I am, now willing to part with this exquisite and rare signed record as I am now thinning the heard on my valuable collectibles and signed records collections. I will be listing a few other signed records in the coming days on eBay (both Grateful Dead and non Dead related) and I currently have a pencil signed Jerry Garcia lithograph "Butterfly Study" for sale as well and listed on eBay. You are Looking at a 100% authentic hand signed Shirt as pictured and described as above..The shirt is a size Medium..It measure 18.5" pit to pit and 28" top to bottom...Comes PSA authentication The original owner won the T-Shirt, a copy of the single "Touch of Grey" with "My Brother Esau" on side two, and 2 front row tickets to their concert at Compton Terrace in Chandler, Arizona on August 18, 1987 from 93.3 KDKB, a local Phoenix, Arizona Radio Station. he wrote the winning limerick for the Morning Show DJ's Cindy Wine and Shelly Dunn. There once was a radio station Whose ratings had gone on vacation They needed some thrills So they hired two girls And now they're the best in the nation Of course they loved it and he won the tickets, shirt and record. He put the package in a paper bag and it has been sitting in my closet since then. Unfortunately, the tickets were up against the shirt where Brent Mydland signed it and the ink on the ticket reacted with the marker and it ran. He since put the tickets in a baggy but the damage was done. Other than that, the shirt is un-worn, never been washed...It has a spot of the back shoulder from the ticket bleed as well... The single "Touch of Grey" is unopened, still in its original plastic wrapper...The buyer will receive the Shirt, single and ticket stubs.. Grateful Dead Yardbirds 1968 Poster aor fd bg Jimmy Page Led Zeppelin
Here is one of the Crown Jewels of 1960's rock and roll posters. This poster was produced for a run of 1968 shows in Miami by the Grateful Dead, Country Now and the Yardbirds when Jimmy Page was in the band. This is easily one of the top 5 most beautiful Dead posters and one of the rarest. In my 25 years of collecting I have seen maybe 4 or 5 examples of this poster come up for sale and those usually had issues like tears, tack holes or fading. This example has rich colors, as nice as the day it was printed. When I acquired it there as a clean fold down the middle which I had professionally flattened by one of the best conservators in the U.S. The poster is perfectly flat and there is only a faint hint of the previous fold visible from the back. There are no color breaks. This particular poster had a set of clean staple holes in the corners which naturally closed when the conservator flattened the poster. This poster has had zero restoration and is as close to mint and you will ever find. The Dead are long gone. Dead & Co are done and all things vintage Dead are being bought up by institutions. Whether you collect the Dead, or Jimmy Page/Zeppelin, this would be one of the Crown Jewels of your collection. This original poster measures 12 x 18 inches and is printed in 3 colors on light green paper. Thanks for looking!

Show featured Grateful Dead, Daily Flash and Love In on July 13 and Agrodome, Collectors and Painted Ship on July 14-15 at Dante's Inferno in Vancouver, Canada. It measures 13 11/16" X 21" and is printed on thick heavy paper. I believe the poster to be the first printing (per internet). It is marked on back "Copyright 1967 Made in Canada" along with printer "Organic Arts 9031 Hudson Street Vancouver 14, B.C.". Condition of the poster is very good. There are thumbtack holes in all four corners along with some minor creases throughout. Additionally there is some writing in ink on the back "OAC17". 1968 Grateful Dead at Crystal Ball Room Portland Oregon Handbill Poster PNW Tour
NOTICE!ORIGINAL 1968 First Printing of The Grateful Dead and The Quicksilver Messenger Service w/ PH Phactor Jug Band. Apparently, this tour of the "Great Pacific Northwest" was the band's first time attempting to book all its own dates. The posters and handbills were done in a wild, wild west motif - complete with faux wrinkled and dirty paper. Collectors attempt to collect the set for this tour. It's not easy as these are very rare.A MINT and CGC graded 9.8 and certified version of this handbill sold recently at Heritage Auction for just over $16K.There are staple holes along the top and bottom margins. As you can see in the photos there is a hole from a staple pull at the upper right side and a "pull" from a staple hole on the lower left corner. This handbill was printed by The Bindweed Press of San Francisco and measures 6"x10" and is for the Fri. Sat. Feb. 2 & 3 show at The Crystal Ball Room in Portland Oregon. Where there were pieces missing (upper left corner, lower right corner, a crescent bit approx. The finished product was now entirely stable enough to handle, and looking quite presentable. I had imagined hanging it from a ridge-beam, in a room of my house with vaulted ceilings, and lots of South-West facing windows; Up high enough to catch the afternoon light, and just far enough out of reach to impress my friends, without giving them the opportunity to study the flaws up close. But the new owner will undoubtedly have plans of their own. ).

This rare, signed, black and white photo of Jerry Garcia, of the Grateful Dead, was taken by the famous rock photographer, Greg Gaar, during the Dead's hiatus in 74/75 at Marx Meadows in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. It was purchased by a good friend at a Grateful Dead show in the 80's at the Oakland Colosseum, as a gift to my late husband, an avid Deadhead. He had it signed by Jerry....and, when he did, he asked Jerry if he remembered the day. Jerry said "Oh Yeah!". He said that he was super sweet. It's been on my wall for years now, and it's time for a new home.

This is an amazing 2009 poster of The Dead that I am very proud to be offering. The Dead were of course a popular touring re-incarnation of the legendary Grateful Dead, who formed after The Other Ones broke up following Jerry Garcia's death. The poster measures 13x19" and was sold in EXTREMELY limited quantities on certain tour stops the band had in 2009. The poster has been personally hand signed by the six members of the band at that time, including bass/vocals Phil Lesh, guitar/vocals Bobby Weir, drummer Bill Kreutzman, drummer/vocals Mickey Hart, guitar/vocals Warren Haynes and keyboard player Jeff Chimenti.
